Dry fish production in Negombo led to the lagoon pollution

Dry fish producers in Negombo are criticized by the lagoon fisherman for polluting the lagoon water by putting off cuts of their products.
Due to this, fisherman who resides near to the lagoon faced lots of problems mainly the bad smell and water pollution.This led to died fish in the lagoon.No legal certificates to thses producers carry such dry fish production yet they have been doing this for couple of years
